Felicity has contributed to a number of films, most notably 'Operation Cloud Lab: Secrets of the Skies' for BBC Science and 'Operation Gold Rush' for BBC History. The documentary about her international women’s South Pole expedition, which was broadcast internationally, is now available on DVD and the feature film of her international women’s North Pole expedition is currently screening at festivals worldwide.
Exposure
A feature-length documentary by US film maker, Holly Morris, that follows Felicity’s Euro-Arabian North Pole Expedition 2018 as a team of 11 women gathered from across Europe and the Middle East defy convention - and the odds - to ski the last degree of latitude to the top of the world.

Team Umiaq
A short film broadcast by Channel 4 News providing a taste of the full length film created for and screened at COP 26 by Groundtruth Productions about a fact-finding expedition by sail from Iceland to Greenland that took place in the summer of 2021.
The expedition brought together expertise from a wide range of fields to provide insight on the climate crisis from a range of perspectives and spoke to the people of Greenland as well as international stake holders. The film emphasizes positive action, offering both hope and solutions.
Operation Gold Rush
Felicity co-presented a three-part series for BBC History broadcast on BBC Two in 2016. Felicity joins Dan Snow and Kevin Fong on an epic 500 mile expedition as they follow in the footsteps of the great 1898 Yukon Goldrush stampede, from Skagway in Alaska to Dawson in Canada. Along the way they cross temperate rain forest and fast flowing rivers, run the risk of avalanche and bear encounters in the mountains and dice with death through fast flowing rapids in a homemade wooden boat. At journeys end lie the remains of the Yukon goldfields where they stake a claim, build a camp and pan for gold using period tools. Will they strike it lucky or like many, come away with nothing?
Operation Cloud Lab: Secrets of the Skies
Felicity co-presented a two part film for BBC Science broadcast on BBC Two in 2014. During the film Felicity and a team of scientists take to the skies in one of world's largest airships for a unique exploration of Earth's most precious and mysterious environment - the atmosphere. Flying coast to coast across the United States, the team undertake a series of exciting experiments shedding light on the causes of wild weather, how life exploits the atmosphere, and the human impact upon the weather.
Land Rover: The greatest explorer you’ve never heard of
A film made for Land Rover about legendary Polar Explorer Tom Crean. Felicity travels to the small village of Annascaul on the west coast of Ireland to visit the South Pole Inn which was built by Ireland's unsung Antarctic hero Tom Crean.
Call of the White
This full-length film follows British polar explorer, Felicity Aston, as she sets out to create a team of women from the Commonwealth countries of Brunei Darussalam, Cyprus, Ghana, India, Jamaica, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom to ski to the South Pole. Some of the women had never seen snow, experienced subzero temperatures or spent the night in a tent before.
As the team of novices arrive in Antarctica they are hit by disaster; a blizzard destroys their tents, a member suffers frostbite and a dangerous team error forces a food shortage. Despite the odds, this unconventional and inspirational band of explorers pushes southward, determined to triumph.
This is a film about friendship, determination and the universal draw of one of the most extreme environments on Earth - Antarctica.
‘Call of the White’ was a finalist at the 2011 Banff Mountain Festival Film Competition and made the Official Selection at numerous film festivals around the world including: Phoenixville Adventure Film Festival, USA; Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival, USA; Dijon Adventure Film Festival, France; Torello Mountain Film Festival, Spain; The Explorers Festival, Poland; The Adventure Film Festival, UK; and Fort William Mountain Festival, UK.
It was also broadcast on national television in several countries around the world including Jamaica, Cyprus, Brunei Darussalam, and Brazil.
